About Tesco PLC

Tesco is a British grocery and general merchandise chain operating more than 7,000 stores throughout the UK and Europe. It is the leading retailer of groceries in the UK and one of the largest in the world by gross revenues. The company was founded in 1919 and has headquarters in Hertfordshire, selling products such as food and beverages, books, furniture, electronics, clothing and fuel.
