Rob Arnott has aimed to join academic theory with the reality of financial markets. As well as pioneering a range of unconventional but now widely applied portfolio strategies, Rob founded Research Affiliates in 2002 to provide research-intensive asset management.

In addition to his work at RA, Rob is a prolific finance writer. He is co-author of The Fundamental Index: A Better Way to Invest, and regularly contributes articles to such publications as the Harvard Busiess Review and Journal of Portfolio Management.
