International Consolidated Airlines Group (IAG) is an Anglo-Spanish airline holding company that was formed in 2011 after a merger agreement between British Airways and Iberia, which have since become subsidiaries of the company. The company has global headquarters in London and its registered office is in Madrid. IAG operates the flag carriers of the UK and Spain, listed above, as well as Ireland’s flag carrier, Aer Lingus, and low-budget airlines such as Vueling and Iberia Express. It’s one of the world’s largest airline groups with a fleet of 530 aircraft, flying more than 118 million passengers each year to almost 280 destinations.
