About BHP Group PLC (GB)

BHP Group PLC is an Anglo-Australian mining company. It’s one of the largest metal miners in the world by market capitalisation, with headquarters in Melbourne. Its roots date back to 1885 with the formation of The Broken Hill Proprietary Company, and BHP Billiton was subsequently formed in 2001 through the merger of Australian-based BHP and Anglo-Dutch company Billiton.
