About Barratt Developments PLC

Barratt Developments is a British property development company and the UK’s leading housebuilder. The business is split into two segments: housebuilding and commercial developments, where it acquires land, obtains planning consents and builds high-quality homes, which it then markets and sells to customers. Barratt was founded in 1958 with headquarters in Coalville, Leicestershire. It operates through six regions and 27 operating divisions across the UK, and the company owns several subsidiaries including Barratt Homes, David Wilson Homes, Barratt London, and Wilson Bowden Developments.
